What You’ll Love…

The Experiences – Sumptuous dining and wine tasting amid the beautiful scenery of Tasmania

Please note, the tour starts at 9.30am on your chosen departure date. Please ensure you arrive in Launceston in time.

Begin your tour in Launceston, at the magnificent Cataract Gorge, home to bushland, cliffs and the South Esk River. Enjoy the cafés at First Basin, take the chairlift for breathtaking views or simply wander through the reserve, admiring the friendly local peacocks.

Next up, you’ll enjoy a wine tasting in Tamar Valley, stopping at the Bay of Fires Winery to sample gorgeous Tasmania wine and enjoy a local produce platter for lunch. Then moving onto Jansz Winery and finishing at the stunning Clover Hill Estate to sample more wines.

In the evening, a delicious dinner at the Country Club Tasmania’s Terrace Restaurant awaits, with the Club’s luxury accommodation your home for the night.

Journey to Campbell Town, a historic place with quirky antique stores and some of Tasmania’s best coffee shops, and experience Richmond’s Wicked Cheese Company, an impressive family-owned business with delicious gourmet cheeses to sample.

At Coal River Farm, tuck into a gourmet lunch before heading on to the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), one of Tasmania’s most treasured highlights.

Find out why so many tourists flock to Hobart every year, with an overnight stay at The Wrest Point, part of Sandy Bay’s iconic casino complex.

Sample exquisite dining with dinner at Kwan Ho, feasting on a seven-course menu of Chinese delights.

No trip to Hobart would be complete without taking the 21km drive to Mount Wellington, passing rainforest, alpine flora and glacial rock formations to reach the panoramic views from the top, looking out over Hobart, Bruny Island, the D'Entrecasteux Channel and into the South West Wilderness.

In the historic town of Ross, admire the cobbled streets and one of Australia’s oldest bridges, before returning to Launceston for wine tasting.

Josef Chromy Wines is considered one of Australia’s best and here you will sample a wide range of award-winning cool-climate wines, including sparkling, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Botrytis Riesling and a Ruby Pinot Port, plus a delicious lunch.

Make sure to leave room for more wine tasting at nearby Sharmans, situated on the oldest existing vineyard in Relbia, Tasmania, and producer of a range of luxurious award-winning Tasmanian wines.

Together with your new-found friends, the evening ends at the Country Club’s Links restaurants with a hearty buffet.

Day four focuses on the North West of Tasmania, with breakfast at Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm in the quaint town of Deloraine. From there, it’s on to House of Anvers chocolate factory, where you’ll watch the making of truffles, pralines and more.

Ghost Rock Vineyard – twice crowned Tourism Tasmania’s Best Cellar Door – is your venue for lunch and yet more wine tasting, served with views over the Tassie coastline.

At Ashgrove Tasmanian Farm, sample award-winning cheeses, before your luxury transport delivers you back to Launceston for a 4pm airport drop-off.
