The Sights - Explore Slovenia's stunning natural beauty and hidden cultural treasures

Take in Slovenia’s quintessential landscape of gorgeous castles, lush forest and snow-capped mountains with a boat ride on a traditional Pletna and sail the emerald waters of the picturesque Lake Bled. Venture up the 1655 steps of Church of Mary’s Assumption, situated at the highest point of Bled Island. Once you reach the top, make a wish to the sound of church bells and look out at the postcard-perfect scenery surrounding you.

Journey into the Slovene Northwest, an alpine wonderland home to the spectacular Triglav National Park where you will find Slovenia’s largest mountain, serene lakes and a huge diversity of flora and fauna. You will admire the mesmerising Velia Soška Korita, a 750m long gorge dotted with mysterious emerald pools.

The valley of the Soca River also carries vast historical significance and saw more than 12 epic battles between the Italians and the Austro-Hungarian armies during World War I. Uncover the details of those tumultuous years with an expert local historian on a private tour of the Kobariski World War I Museum.
